Nick Johal joined the team in 2014 as Head of Fixed Income. Nick was responsible for distributing approximately GBP2bn nominal of Retail Bonds since the inception of the Order Book for Retail Bonds, including the GBP300m 8y LSE and GBP265m National Grid linker. He is regularly invited to speak at the LSE and other industry conferences, gaining a very strong reputation in this area of the market. Early successes in the Retail Bond space led to mandates for successful equity IPO's and Investment Trust launches, the highlight of which was a senior role in the privatisation of Royal Mail (Intermediary Offer.) Previous roles including Multi-Asset Structured Products Sales, Prime Brokerage, Derivatives Operations and Collateral Management.
Concerns around duration, liquidity, valuations and supply in Credit have prompted investors to look for a more flexible solution.
